Hey all, thanks for the support. There are so many sites which sell and share sensitive personal information without anyone’s consent, and I've seen a lot of folks that don't know *a lot* of it can be removed. Your address doesn't need to be publicly available on Google. 🧹 We’re trying to prevent the avoidable harm that comes from the current state of how easily findable much of that information is. That avoidable harm ranges from annoyances (spam) to increased susceptibility to hacks and serious risks such as stalking. @rachelvrabec covered a lot here, but I’ll add one thing. My favorite aspect of Kanary is that—as a team—we’ve been thoroughly focused on making a tool that *everyone* can use. Whether you can afford a subscription or not, we provide tools to help you find, monitor, and remove these risks. And regardless of if you’re a serious privacy head, or someone who doesn’t care or think about it much, everyone should at least know what's out there and be empowered to do something about it.
