Kudos 3.0 - The AI that finds money you're missing and gets it back
by•
Most money apps show you charts. Kudos does the work. Your home shows Your wins, one number for everything Kudos has earned or saved you, and your next best money move. Most people don't know their cards come with personalized offers they have to turn on by hand. Kudos activates them for you: about $800/yr in offers in early testing. Our AI also calls providers to lower your bills ($216/yr per negotiation) and cancels subscriptions you forgot ($247/yr each). You keep 100% of the savings.

Hi Product Hunt, I'm Tikue, co-founder of Kudos.
I spent years in consumer payments at Microsoft, Google and Affirm. One thing kept bugging me: people don't lose money because they're careless. They lose it because claiming it is a chore. The credit you forgot, the bill that crept up $40, the subscription you meant to cancel.
Every AI assistant launched this year helps you spend. We built one that gets your money back.
Our members also told us the app made them do too much of the work. So we rebuilt Kudos around one question: what's the most valuable thing you can do with your money right now?
What's new in Kudos 3.0:
💰 Your wins: one number for everything Kudos has earned or saved you, growing over time
👉 Your next best move: a credit about to expire, an offer worth using, a bill we can lower. Ranked by what's worth most to you, not what we want to promote
📞 We make the calls: our AI phones your provider and negotiates your bill (about $216/yr saved per negotiation in early testing) and cancels subscriptions you forgot ($247/yr each). You keep 100% of the savings
🎁 Offers you didn't know you had: most cards come with personalized offers you have to activate by hand, and most people never do. Kudos turns them all on for you. That's about $800/yr in offers per member in early testing
✨ Ask KudosAI: "What did I spend this week?" "Which card should I use here?"
Kudos never moves money without your OK. Free to download on iOS, Android and Chrome.
One question for you: what's the money chore you'd hand off first? I'm here all day and will answer every comment.
Wait, it actually calls the provider for you? Wonder how those conversations go lol.
@sheikh_umair1 Yes, it actually does! And you get a full transcript of the call afterward, plus a 30 second highlight video of the moment where the discount was confirmed.
Here's one from when our AI agent called T-Mobile to negotiate my bill: https://www.joinkudos.com/lower-my-bills/d757b245-045e-460a-a12c-7506a3c0d032
The funny thing is, the conversations sound surprisingly normal, and about 50% of the calls result in a discount!
Curious how well the card recommendations work when shopping on your phone.
@sukumar_sukumar1 Card recommendations work on your phone through our optional Safari extension. Whenever you shop online, Kudos automatically recommends the best card to use, factoring in rewards, card credits, and offers we've activated for you.
For example, if you're shopping at Lululemon with an Amex Platinum, Kudos might identify 1% in rewards, a $75 credit, and an activated 10% offer. We'll calculate the total value, recommend the best card, and securely autofill it at checkout.
And when you're shopping in a physical store, Kudos can remind you which card to use through our location based cheat sheet.
I'm on the other side of this: I run a subscription app, and I still think cancelling forgotten subscriptions is a fair service. A subscriber who forgot about us isn't a customer, just a refund request waiting to happen. How does Kudos tell "forgotten" from "rarely used but wanted"? Does it ask before cancelling every time?
@gbasovv Kudos doesn't cancel anything without your permission, you are always prompted before any subscription is cancelled
@tikue_anazodo1 Good, asking every time is the right default. Then the only thing I'd watch is how often it asks: a prompt per subscription per month gets ignored fast. Congrats on the fifth launch.
The automatic card offer activation caught my eye. Those offers are easy to miss when you have to go looking for them yourself. Congrats on 3.0, Tikue and team!
@oleksii_sekundant Thanks!
The automatic subscription cancellation caught my attention. I've definitely forgotten about subscricptions so this could come in handy.
@magdalena_anderson You're definitely not alone! Kudos proactively spots subscriptions you might have forgotten about and even flags when prices go up. And if you decide you want to cancel one, it's just one click to give us permission. Our AI agent handles the entire cancellation process for you, including navigating all those hoops companies make you jump through to cancel :)
Forgotten subscriptions and bills that could be lower are such an annoying combo haha. Grats @tikue_anazodo1 @aikudos @meara_algama
