@cathyraffaele 100% agree! If anything, the pandemic and remote work has shown us how powerful online communities can be.

Ladder is an excellent platform.
Have been an early Ladder user since the Remote Students Days. It has been fantastic to see how the platform has grown.
Great platform for both opportunity discovery and posting alike!
Keep up the great work team. π

Yes, yes, yes, and yes. I've been a fan/user of Ladder for sometime now. Wish I had something like this at the beginning of my college day's but it still helped immensely right after I graduated.
@alexander_nevedovsky Thanks Alexander! Our thesis is that the future of professional platforms will be community-based instead of network-based. To that end, we're focused on building products and tools for people to find, start, and engage their professional communities. We have a large audience of students and professionals who are interested in tech, but continue to expand to more industries and going up the chain to more experienced professionals. We capture users at their earliest points in their career - during school, during their first job search, and when they're looking to transition. We also plan to onboard existing communities and leaders who are looking for a better tool than Slack or Facebook Groups to start their own communities. A recent product we built for communities is curated community job boards: https://ladder.to/jobs

Congrats @andrew_tan1 on the launch! Moving forward, how do you plan on maintaining a tight-knit, mentor-led community even as it grows rapidly? This is a problem I see most on similar platforms, and I'd like to know how you all do it differently.
@addcninblue Good question! Communities are definitely hard to do well at scale. That's why our goal is to be a professional community PLATFORM, instead of a single community. We build the best products and tools for existing and new communities to flourish on Ladder. Members will be able to create their own niche communities and have complete ownership over how they grow it. Definitely a lot easier said than done, but we're making our first steps towards that vision.
