Hey PH πŸ‘‹ Nate from the LayerProof team. This is launch #3 for us, and honestly the most different one yet.

The first two launches were feature launches: Chromo (AI slide maker with source-backed generation) and Social Content Creator (URL β†’ social posts across 6 platforms). Both UI-facing, both easy to show in a demo video.

Washi is the opposite. We didn't ship a new screen. We shipped an API and 3 integrations because our power users kept telling us they wanted LayerProof to run inside their workflow, not as another app they had to open.

So now LayerProof lives wherever you already work:

  • Make: native app, just search "LayerProof"

  • n8n: native nodes, works with AI Agent pattern or standalone workflows

  • Agent Skills: for Claude Code, Cursor, or anything that supports tool calls

  • Plus a full REST API + shared scenario templates you can clone and run

Stuff people are already building with it:

  • Agencies auto-generating kickoff decks the moment a client fills a form

  • SaaS founders piping Stripe/PostHog data into a weekly investor deck

  • AI agents generating slide decks mid-conversation as a tool call

  • Internal Slack bots that let teams "slash-command" a deck into existence

One honest caveat: Make has a 2-min execution limit per module, so v1 is best for shorter jobs. We're working on a webhook callback pattern for longer runs in v2.

Huge thanks to the Spartan team who built this, our beta users who've been brutally honest with feedback, and everyone who supported us through launches 1 and 2. Reading every comment today.

When we launched our first version of LayerProof, this community gave us incredible momentum, but the biggest gift was watching how you actually used the product.

We noticed a very specific trend: you were trying to dump massive, heavy CSV files into our slide maker (since our engine is built heavily around data visualization). We quickly realized that our Notion integration, while helpful, just wasn't enough for the true scale people were aiming for.

The "aha" moment actually came from looking inward at our own marketing team. We were already automating our own daily work using tools like Make, n8n, and various agent skills. We realized that the real power doesn't live in a design editor - it lives in your sheets, your files, and your data.

So we thought: Why not just open up our core engine as an API and set of agent skills?

So here it is: Washi.

It’s our new API and Agent Skills layer for making slides and social posts at scale. Instead of manual design work, you can now connect your workflows directly to Washi and generate professional, data-accurate visuals on autopilot.

Here is the challenge: Give it a try with your heaviest spreadsheet! πŸ“Š

What's the first workflow you'd build with Washi?
