Such a fun and quick way to learn...anything! Learn.xyz meets me and my interest in obscure subjects where I am and gives me more than I know existed. Sure beats the heck out of doomscrolling!
Congratulations on the launch. This is such an exciting app! Like you, my European roots (Denmark, to be specific) also made me a firm believer in free education and your mission touched my heart.
I created a few Curiosities and they worked really well. Both visually and text-wise, you strike a great balance of playfulness that can appeal to both adults and kids, which isn't an easy balance to create! It was easy to get going and simple to use. A favorite moment of delight was the push notification prompt text "Better to ask for permissions than forgiveness" which, together with your cute avatar Lumi, made me smile.
One piece of feedback: I created a Curiosity about Albrecht Dürer, my favorite artist, and while the text was great, the visuals were quite bad. They were all AI-generated images that imitated Renaissance art and looked janky. When I want to learn more about an artist, I want to see their work, not AI work. I could also imagine some users confusingly thinking that what they saw was the artist's work, which would be misinformation.
Related question: What do you do to ensure that the information displayed is true? AI is notorious for hallucinating after all 😅
@maria_hagsten
Thanks Maria!
We generate all of the images just for your question. But that also means they are original, and don’t replicate the actual artwork exactly. Agreed that we need to find a better way to at least highlight that so it’s clear to our community in use cases like yours.
On your question of hallucinations — in full transparency that does happen sometimes, especially on questions that don’t make much sense, but we strive to only use the most trusted sources possible instead of blindly using all the information out there.
And when things don’t quite look right, we have an ace up our sleeves: You. The community can flag content and tell us what’s wrong and over time we get really good at preventing problems before they even happen.
@arndt_voges Thank you for the thorough answer. I missed the "flag content" button the first time around, but see it now. Just flagged another Curiosity and giving feedback worked well.

Wow! Awesome and a ton of app reviews to launch with, congrats on your launch.
Curious who your ideal audience is? (School age?)
Although I wasn't able to find the app on my phone's Play Store I got to install it using the website link.
first of all please let us get rid of the haptic feedback. What is the vibration for?
The Android app is still very buggy. I saw visual bugs when the cards had a white filter on them as if they were not fully loaded.
When closing the learn cards I saw the most bugs.
but forgetting all of this. the concept is very nice. and I searched two topics and the results were acceptable but I wonder if the information can always be trusted or not. and from my experience, they were good as a pass time read or more targeted towards younger audiences but I believe on the Apple store it said for 17+ users .
@savvyblunt Arndt here as well, chiming in on the 17+ setting. That's what Apple suggested (I think this is because we allow people to enter their own topics) despite us filtering bad content and using it with our kids all the time.
In short - didn't want to risk getting rejected at launch, so we went with the suggestion. We'll update that now that things are live.

Congrats on the launch @christianbyza !
This is such a cool concept! I love how Learn.xyz combines learning and fun using AI. But for me, the best part has been the ease of use and how it delivers the information in a simple and easy-to-understand manner.
I'm curious to know, what kind of subjects does Learn.xyz cover? Are there specific categories or is it more open-ended? Keep up the great work! 👍
I just downloaded the app and I'm looking forward to seeing Learn.xyz grow!
@gusoliveira_ Thanks for the note! Basically we allow any content with the exaction of violent, racist etc. Just ask and you get a course. Or get inspired by what your friends are learning in the feed!

Congrats on the launch! I just tested out the app and I'm loving how responsive the UI is. This is perfect for all the random questions I have during the day. Excited to see where this goes & how long I can keep the streak up!
