LearnBack - Turn learning into memory with daily recall

byโ€ข
Hey everyone ๐Ÿ‘‹ Iโ€™ve been struggling with something for a while. I consume a lot (reading, videos, scrolling), but I forget most of it pretty quickly. So I built LearnBack: โ†’ learn something โ†’ get reminded later โ†’ recall it (text or voice) โ†’ it actually sticks Thatโ€™s how LearnBack was born. I built it mostly for myself at first, but it ended up changing how I retain things day to day. Would love your honest feedback ๐Ÿ™

Hey everyone ๐Ÿ‘‹ One thing Iโ€™m still unsure about: would you actually build a habit around recalling what you learn? I found it useful for myself, but Iโ€™m curious if reminders to โ€œrecallโ€ would feel helpful or just annoying over time. Also, what would make you stick to something like this daily?

Love this idea. As an ex-educator, I know the value in recall and retrieval practice to support retention. Can I ask, would the user experience be 1. Watch/read something on another app/site. 2. Head to LearnBack to input what they have learnt? If so, does LearnBack send reminders to actually โ€˜logโ€™ with it while youโ€™re scrolling/reading? Great idea. Good luck with the launch!

Thank you, Leah ๐Ÿ˜Š

Yes, the flow is exactly as you described. You learn anywhere, then come back to LearnBack to log it.

The key part is the reminders: the app nudges you at the right moments so you donโ€™t have to rely on remembering to use it.

Over time, itโ€™s meant to turn recall into a habit rather than an extra step.

Really appreciate your question.
Thanks again ๐Ÿ™
