How James and Danielle worked on every little detail was and is impressive for me! I got rid of tens of unwanted subscriptions. I have a question, how did you decided it wasn't ready for Product Hunt launch? What did you change? If you were launching again, would you do the same? Thanks! 💯

@morajabi Good question! We soft launched with just the basic email unsub functionality. But publishing it to a wider audience we wanted to address the main pain points of our users. These were; 1. Being able to add some senders to an ignore list. 2. Being able to re-run a scan if something goes wrong. 3. Various UI improvements We also wanted to add a referral scheme to encourage users to do our advertising for us 🙈 Building in the open has been a great way to get rapid feedback on these things and more.

I discovered Leave Me Alone late last year when it was still new and used the free offering to try it. It worked as advertised. I then paid for their 6 month scan and went through the process of removing myself from 238 mailing lists. It has dramatically reduced clutter in my inbox. It had a great interface for handling emails when the unsubscribe button in the email was broken or different. Really well thought through. I would highly recommend this product to anyone that wants to take back control of their inbox.

Pros:

Helped me remove myself from 238 mailing lists.

Cons:

It not existing sooner.

This is just an amazing product from an amazing team @dinkydani21 and @jamesivings have build something that is truly valuable. I discovered this product through twitter late last year and eventually used it to remove myself from 238 mailing lists. The interface is well thought through and the support is excellent. Can highly recommend this to anyone that wants to take back control of their inbox.

I don't know a single person who isn't subscribed to many useless things. The problem is that all those emails "steal" our time, focus and, ultimately, our productivity 😣 Unsubscribing is usually a manual and painful experience, until now! LMA is wonderful, the process is transparent and does exactly what you would expect. These guys are really into something great... 💪
