Congrats on the PH launch James and Danielle!

Pros:

Straightforward and fun to use. Intuitive failure feature where it shows a screenshot and provided a manual unsubscribe link.

Cons:

None because I've provided my feedback and the team was quick to fix bugs and improve user experience.

I did use LMA while it was in Beta. Danielle and James did a wonderful job developing alongside us (the beta testers). Occurring bugs where fixed immediately and they really cared about feedback.

Pros:

- Very fast to use - doesn't use or store sensible information

Cons:

nothing!

Mark Hasebroock

smart and intuitive

Pros:

so simple to use...i just unsubscribed from 48 different emails. Never have to scroll to the bottom and squint to find the unsubscribe again

Cons:

none really..very well done

I signed up and immediately felt at home with the interface. The surprise was just how many emails I was subscribed to! I went for a full scan and got clicking away.

Pros:

It’s a straightforward and effective service. Great user interface.

Cons:

Would be nice if you could unsubscribe from everything automagically, but I get why that’s not possible.

Sarah Jackson

Such a great idea and well executed.

Pros:

I love the design and how easy it is to use.

Cons:

None I can think of

547 subscriptions found. I’m going to go out on a limb here and say this was something I needed in my life.
Danielle Johnson
@chrisgscott that is incredible!! You have taken our top spot for the most unsubscribes ever!! If you want you can set a reminder to scan again to keep on top of it :). Thanks so much for using Leave Me Alone!

Interesting business model! Do you see this as a potential long term business/product or more of a short term monetizable MVP?
James Ivings
@haoyangnz Thanks! We hope that it can become a long term business. From research with our customers we've found that a large number of our sales came from users buying scans for their entire office, so we are going to explore the option of offering a business subscription plan. By paying a monthly fee, businesses can run an unlimited number of scans on any company employee email address. We're going to advertise this as a huge productivity boost for your team, as they no longer have to waste valuable time sorting through their emails.

@jamesivings Ahh - makes sense! Nice one 👏

Congrats Danielle and James 🙌, LMA really helps people get rid of all the spams, use mailbox without pain and focus more on what truly matters. ❤️

Folks, is there an easy way to unsubscribe from all?
James Ivings
@sarupbanskota Not currently! Most users don't know which emails they want to unsubscribe from. On average a user only unsubs from about 40% of the ones we show, so a mass unsubscribe would be difficult. But I'll add it to our list of features to investigate!

This is great!! Well done. I love that it actually unsubscribes from the provider, rather than just labelling it and hiding form the inbox. It seems to have found quite a lot of email from people in my company and personal emails that aren't subscriptions. What is the methodology around deciding if it's a subscription?
James Ivings
@alex_zaccaria Hey Alex, thanks for the kind words! 😃 There are a few methods we use, but essentially email providers can specify a 'one-click' unsubscribe link or a mailto address in the email metadata, designed to be used for this purpose. We use this and either follow the link, or send an unsubscribe email request. If something is showing up it means that it has this unsubscribe information, for some reason. Maybe your co-workers are using some system to automate their emails to you 😄
