I built LingoChat because after 7 years living in Spain and traveling a lot for work, I’m still terrible at learning languages. I kept running into situations where I just needed a quick conversation — at my kids’ football matches, meeting people locally, or during business trips abroad. Translation apps were slow and awkward. So I built something simpler: scan a QR code and start an instant translated chat, no apps or accounts required.

LingoChat enables instant conversations between people who don’t share a language. Simply scan a QR code or open a link and start chatting — each person writes in their own language and messages appear translated instantly. No apps to install, no accounts, nothing stored.
