What's the most frustrating thing about traditional website forms you've dealt with?
by•
Hi guys!!
Traditional website forms drive me up the wall, and I know I'm not alone 😒
A few that always get me :
Asking for my phone number when I just want to send a quick question
Tiny mobile fields + autocorrect turning my message into nonsense
"Required" fields that feel totally unnecessary
Submitting... then getting a vague "something went wrong" error
Waiting forever for a reply that never comes because the message got lost in translation
What's yours? Vent away ahahahaah

The last one hurts so badly -- Not sure what's worse, not getting a response or getting a macro response without any of my shared feedback/information being properly taken into consideration.
@erico_souza_mendes ouch 😥
You know this moment, when they add one little "We appreciate your input and have passed it to the product team" sentence as a confirmation they received your message.
And then - nope, nada, nothing ahah
The one single thing that drives me crazy is when I am clicking on a component while the page is still loading and at the exact moment that I click, the layout moves, and makes me click on something else like an ad for example!
@nollers oh man, I feel this pain in my soul. That millisecond where the page decides "surprise! everything just moved" is the ultimate betrayal.
The worst part is when there is no auto-fil for your email/name/phone number/adresses. That waste so much time...
@philippe_lavoie_st_cyr AHAHAHAH yikesssss
