I’m Shingo Irie, the creator of Lofi Desk.

As a remote worker/developer, I often found myself struggling with two things: maintaining focus and feeling a bit lonely during long solo sessions. I tried regular playlists, but I missed the feeling of "presence."

That’s why I built Lofi Desk—to create the perfect deep work environment that feels alive.

Congrats on the launch, Shingo! I'm a sucker for this art style and LoFi tunes. I went to forward the link to my Phone and was pleasantly surprised to discover I could also use it on my Computer.

Have it playing now! How did you curate the music/tunes? I feel like adding a bit more of the value add Lofi brings (or future roadmap) aside from the art and curation would help sell on the paid version!

I’ve seen YouTubers do something similar where they play background music while filming themselves working. The idea is to provide a sense of companionship for the viewer. This concept builds on that by adding a Pomodoro timer, which is especially helpful for people working from home.
