While working page by page, I kept asking myself whether the organisation s line stayed intact, or if it quietly drifted as architecture, content and design evolved. It made me realise how difficult it is to see coherence while you re inside the system.
I spend a lot of time working on cognitive systems environments that give people a stable core while still leaving space for their own way of thinking.
Something I keep noticing: people approach structure very differently. Some want small pieces they can shape themselves. Others prefer clear routes that already exist. Some want full freedom inside a defined zone. Others want a ready made function that simply works.
I m trying to understand this more precisely. When people use a system that supports thinking or reasoning flows, what do they actually look for a flexible base they define themselves, or a complete structure they can rely on?
