I don't want to be a spoilsport here but this is just to inform users so to save them from some pain. I recorded a 12 mins demo and then nothing happened. I saw "Processing your video..." message but nothing happened. I recorded several tiny 1-2 mins videos and they worked flawlessly. I thought there might be some issue so I recorded another 12 mins demo again. But even this time my effort and time have gone down the drain:( I am sure that this will be fixed in coming version of the product.

This is great however I noticed a problem today. All search bars had been overlayed with a different search bar in a white box. I eventually worked out it was this plugin that was causing the problem. What happened?

@kev_craven @arunpattnaik Hey Kev & Arun! We accidentally shipped a UI bug with our release yesterday. We've gone ahead and fixed this issue, but are waiting for the Chrome team to approve our latest version (have been eagerly waiting all day) :( We're hoping the fix should be live any minute now! Sincerely sorry about this..

Hello! I'm hoping to use this tool for a remote user testing of a clickable prototype and brainstorming what would be the simplest way to administer them. Will I need to have each remote participants open Chrome and download this extension?

@cindy_kim Hi there Cindy! Going to reach out to you directly. We actually started out as a user feedback platform so your use case is right up our alley. Talk soon!

The Loom team are constantly striving to develop the product and are very responsive to feedback

I use loom to create screen recordings to send to customers who use our software. It is the best way to answer customers questions about how to do something with a software product. Far superior to explaining via email or with support articles. Not only is it better, it is faster! Yes, it is faster to use Loom's chrome for a screen recording walking the customer through the process than it is to type an email instructing them. Love Loom.

Pros:

The best way to communicate with customers!

Cons:

There are a couple of bugs with the chrome extension. The desktop version is out soon and will and solve this :)

I use this all the time! It is so great. One question I have is can we do voice recording for people on a call? Not just me?

Cutting the 100 video limit to 25 for precious early adopters, who helped bring you to Unicorn status, while offering no grace period AND simultaneously trying to spin this as a positive is precisely the wrong move. Great product, but very poor transition to a more aggressive pricing model. I have gone from hard-core evangelist of Loom to sour and actually now rooting against you as quickly as I could read the sentence "So, a team of 20 could store up to 500 videos – and get more value from Loom at no additional cost." I'm a team of one and I like my 100 video limit. When Youtube TV increased pricing from $35 to $65, they did it in phases AND they offered a grace period allowing early adopters like me to continue to evangelize their product and not feel like I was getting the rug pulled out from under me.
