What's the difference between you and ViewedIt (https://viewedit.com/)? They look pretty similar.
Joe Thomas
@lukethomas14 Hey Luke! We appreciate the question over here. As of today the products are fairly similar. We launched Openvid 1.0 ~4 months ago and 2.0 a couple weeks back. Vidyard has been a power user company with 40+ employees using us since the first day we launched. They saw value in building a fraternal twin offering so they did. Their core product is video analytics and their overall offering is targeted for Sales and Marketing folks. A valuable tool for those individuals. As for us, we're fortunate enough to be looking at video communication with a fresh set of eyes. It is our core focus. The differences will become more obvious over time but we're already working on some next gen features that will know some socks off 😜

This is such a good asset, I prefer Chrome and have been looking for more tools to use through them

Life goal: for all my colleagues to use this and never have to write out "Click here, go there" in an email again.

Smooth like butter. Just wish the timer from the bottom-left could be removed.

this is exactly what I was looking for

First experience with Opentest: Seems to work fine. Whenever you switch screens in Chrome the light on my MBP camera goes off and the self monitoring bubble disappears. Confusing. Figured out it was still recording after ending the session and watching it. Tried it again and it crashed. Sigh. Alright back to screenflow
Joe Thomas
@evankimbrell Hey Evan! Really sorry to hear about the confusion. We realize there are some experiential issues that need ironing out. And the crash is frustrating. I have experienced it a handful of times myself. I would posit that Screenflow use cases are inherently different for what you'd use Openvid for. Screenflow is for the pixel perfect video tutorials you create for marketing asset purposes. The way we look at Openvid is a day-to-day, hour-to-hour general communication tool. I would love to get some additional feedback from you to see how we can make this a possibility. Let me know: joe@opentest.co If not, we can now make it a goal to win you over with our next version! Thanks for the feedback!
