Lottie animations lead the way in adding high-quality, scalable animations to your web pages and menus. jLottie, our exciting new Lottie player, brings the possibility of adding dozens of micro-animations without hampering the performance of your web pages.
Calling all developers - we've got news for you!
We all wish to create web experiences that will mesmerize our users, with user interfaces that are fun to interact with and have tiny details that add immense value to the user experience. With Lottie micro-animations you can do just that - and now without having to worry about performance.
Introducing our new lightweight Lottie player, jLottie! We have been working around the clock for months and months to build this player from scratch and to make it available as an open-source project for the whole developer community to continue the journey.
jLottie plays back your Lottie micro-animations without any frame drops by precomputing all the transformations associated with your animations, irrespective of their number.
Now experience smooth micro-animations on your web pages and menus without compromising the performance and quality of rendering.
Is this awesome or what? Share your thoughts and give us a vote if you are as excited as we are.
@paularambles How was your experience using Lottie for mobile? Would love to hear from you what are your feedbacks and things you would like to see there :)
@solidtree jLottie is not an upgrade over current Lottie players. jLottie takes an alternative approach to playing Lottie micro-animations, making it a whole lot smaller and more efficient. But it reduces the number supported Lottie features, which means it won't play all the animations in the lottiefiles.com repository. If you use lots of micro-animations, then do please test out jLottie.
