We designed Lovaround to be a real, live network — not just a signup wall — so when someone pins themselves, they’re not just “in the system”… they’re visible to the world 🌍 (unless they choose to hide their profile).

There’s no ad tracking or anything like that, but the visibility might help with organic discovery, backlinks, or even collabs from unexpected corners of the internet ✨

Really appreciate the question — we’re just getting started so ideas like this help us shape where Lovaround goes 🙌

What we’re trying with Lovaround is a slightly different vibe: less directory, more human map. Something more playful, visual, and open — where people can instantly see who’s out there, without even signing up.

We’re also thinking in public about features that go beyond just location — like tags, discovery by vibe/stack/stage, or async ways to spark conversations 💬

Totally appreciate the comparison though — the world definitely needs more ways for builders to connect.

Huge respect for what you built with FoundersAround — it clearly resonated with a lot of people (us included!).

Lovaround actually started as a fun weekend experiment to see how fast we could build something feel-good and useful using @Lovable — which made it insanely easy to get something live, fast. Seriously, your work inspired us — and Lovable enabled us 🙏

As for the plan:

We’re keeping it lightweight and playful for now, focusing on the vibe-first experience — helping builders find each other visually, with a sense of presence and serendipity. But we’re listening closely to what the community wants, and already thinking about filters, async hangouts, tags by skills/tools, and more.

Right now, the globe is mostly a playful experiment — a way to visualize who’s building with Lovable and spark unexpected connections between vibe coders.

But you're absolutely right — it could evolve into something more structured: a shared space with resources, discussions, collaborations, maybe even in-person meetups.
