I really like the fact that it's easy to write quick tests using syntax based on intent. Awesome work!

Congrats on the launch!

@ash_grover Thanks Ash - we're just getting started. Much more to come!

I've been using maestro in the company I work for for more than 2 years now and it was the core reason why we were able to reach a huge level of impact with the tests. We currently have something close to 150 tests running, mixed with e2e and hermetic (mocked) ones. We run an average of 6500 UI tests on PRs per week. And now with this new Maestro Studio Desktop IDE is enhancing the devexp even more, with potential to keep engineers (yes, here engineers are responsible for building and maintaining tests) even more productive. Good job on everything folks, happy to be part of it!

@pedrozaroni Really appreciate the support Pedro! 🙏

This brand-new desktop app totally fits my workflow — I run mobile and web tests in minutes, no CLI or setup needed.

Maestro.dev looks amazing love how it transforms API development with smooth versioning and instant collaboration for teams. Quick question are you planning to introduce AI-assisted documentation or automated testing integration soon?

Jake Krupski

@pulkitgarg MaestroGPT is usable in the Studio App - just click that little robot icon to ask questions (its trained on Maestro!)

For Integrations - our cloud offering makes it super easy to run your tests directly from CI and we provide a stable / fast environment for executing tests at scale! (You can kick off a free trial to test that out whenever you are ready)

This is the missing step to bring all the wonderful features of the cli - fast test iteration to the Product Managers. Its an eye opener to have it be so accessible including the future of MCP

@superroach Appreicate your feedback on this!! So grateful to have you as an early power user of Maestro and all your feedback and help you provide to others is not overlooked. Thanks for being part of this awesome community!!

-- If open to it, if you have a second and can share a review sometimes we'd be grateful too!

This is awesome! All platforms (Android/iOS/Web) in one place with minimal setup, and now with its own IDE.

I have been playing with Maestro for the last couple of months and have written a medium post about it! (https://medium.com%2F@medium.com/@sahiltiwari_66376/maestro-next-generation-mobile-ui-testing-framework-appium-alternative-fcd3c4727771)

Now the IDE changes everything. Can't wait to play more and get the hang of it before I suggest it to my team! (conditional loops and all)

Jake Krupski

@sahil_tiwari3 - this post is great!! Love when folks take the time to write about their experience with Maestro. If you ever have questions don't hesitate to reach out to me about requirements you/your team have specifically and what we have up our sleeve for the future!

Would love to hear your review when you take the Studio App through its paces as well!

We've been using Maestro since launch and it's made such a huge difference to our mobile testing- excited to see how Maestro Studio improves on this even further!

Jake Krupski

@mct23 been a pleasure working with you and the Skyscanner team. We would love to hear from y'all about the new Studio App and how its treating you. The whole mission is to make it easier and easier to create test coverage!

Just ran a couple of mobile tests with the desktop app, can't believe how smooth it was without touching the CLI. That visual inspector + AI combo is wild.
