As professional software that aims to directly helps you with productivity, we think it makes sense to be a paid app, it raises both the expectations and commitment from new users, which from our testing and UX discussions actually makes people more satisfied! Let me know via email or using the help button in the app if you need help/less friction to try the app, I'm always happy to be flexible so that everyone who really wants to try the app can do so!
