Hello, guys, love the idea. For this usecase I'm already using apple notes and apple photos, what's better with memorizer ?
Tom Sales
@jeremy_dudek Memorizer is one unique app to use both notes and photos to remember things. Memorizer is designed specically for Memories, so we populate your memories with additional data (wikipedia information, movies resume, ...). And above all, a list of movies in Memorizer look way better and is more manageable that a list in any notes-taking app.

Good job, the app is really enjoyable. I am following it for a few months and see how you have developed the social part of the app. I was using it more as a smart todo list. Sharing all these elements is a good idea but sharing settings needs to be clear and easy to edit. I n the future, are you going to push the social part of the app or to continue developing todo and personal automation?
Tom Sales
@laurent_girard1 Memorizer is already designed so that you can split the things you want to remember for yourself and the tips or recommendations (movies, restaurants, ...) you want to share with your friends! You will benefit also from your network's recommendations.

Kudos @ launching ?makers love the problem space I wonder: How did you decide re whether to launch or continue polishing in stealth?
Charles Baron
@__tosh Hi Thomas, thanks for the question. We've been iterating on our beta version for the past 18 months (more than 30 releases on the App Store) trying to explore and learn in our product territory : people's memory. We did not want too many users to keep high velocity in this process. Now we launch because we think we've reached the right retention and usage metrics. Our user love the app and we feel we are now strong enough to deliver on the promise we do! But roadmap remains... huge! :)

Since memories are quite sensitive (you neither want to lose them but also care about privacy) I wonder how you think about data storage? Can you share more about that angle?
Charles Baron
@__tosh Another great question! We think data privacy has to be the backbone of any new project in this field. As shown by Web3, people care about their privacy more than ever. And we do too. On memorizer your data is your data and we will never commercialized it. All your memories are 100% private by default. And then you can share or make it visible to your friends in one tap. You have full control. The data is stored on AWS servers and fully secured. If your loose your phone, you're not loosing your memories! That could be another reason for people to use the app.
