Milanote 3.0 - The tool for organizing creative projects, now with drawing

It was designed to replicate the feeling of working on a wall in a creative studio—visual, tactile, and sometimes a bit messy (in a good way!) Today, we're releasing our biggest update yet. It's all about adding new ways to express your ideas visually. Long time user here! Love so many things about Milanote, but one of my favourites is the mix between 'canvas' and the Russian doll 'boards' which give depth to the canvas too.

One day I told myself "There is a Software where is not a pain in the a** to do a Moodboard?". Then, after a very short research I have found Milanote. It was like I have found my Charming Prince on a beautiful horse ready to save me. Milanote is not only extremely useful for Moodboard but for everything that concerns the collection of idea, the mind maps, the study of a character, of a story, in simple words: everything that you need for your project. The best thing is how easy is to put images all together... Really guys, in normal graphic software is like: "Oh add a new level, past the image, oh crap I have to zoom, oh crap I have to make a font layer, oh s*** the canvas is too little let me adjust it... F***." Also, I don't have to save like a ton of images in a Windows folder and then have to watch them one by one to find the reference I need. Sorry for the amount of * but I think that they can really explain how it was painful to do such things before Milanote. Thanks Milanote Team for saving me from painful moments!

These updates look great, but we're still really waiting for the fully functional search that can find particular elements / links / notes, because right now it only leads you to the board where you have to find it yourself. This is particularly needed for the times when app is used on mobile and you have to scroll through all the things that you have in a board.

Been using Milanote for a couple of years now and while I am dying for them to implement a tagging solution (hard to find some of my notes and ideas that get scattered in various boards), everything else is best-in-class! This update looks amazing! Thanks for putting in the great effort and hard work on all these new features... can't wait to try them out and drop a few other apps I use now :)

Milanote has changed my life. I'd been exploring for a while collecting ideas, podcasts, links and just dumping it into Evernote and not really being able to organise it in a way that visual represents the connections of the ideas with each other. Ever since I started using Milanote a over a year ago, I've been on it every day, building my second brain. Just being able to look at everything I've ever watched from Youtube in an organised board is so satisfying. Milanote was a game-changer for me when I started using it in 2018, but even then I thought it was waiting for an iPad release-- I think that was the gist of my feedback for 2.0 on this very site. Still pretty much the only thing on my wishlist for Milanote (I'm sure I've probably voted on the roadmap more than once) especially with the introduction of drawing tools.

Another big fan of Milanote here. It's the one tab that's always open and it's the mothership of all my ideas, processes, strategy and so much more. I love it and I love the changes. On my wish list: spreadsheet like feature and a calendar view of my tasks across boards. Grateful that Milanote came into my life !!

I've been using it since about a year and I gotta say that each time I felt there was a missing part in the software it came out maybe a couple weeks after. It feels SO nice to know that the product developement team is updating and adding features to their app regularly. For a long time, I tried to find an app that would be great for putting my idea and concept on "virtual paper" therefore whether it was too simple or too artistic for me.
