I already installed and tested Mindful, and I have to say that it's a wonderful extension! I used Papier, but now I keep with Mindful. Thanks.

I love this. I've been trying different things (notepad, google docs, Evernote) but this seems to work well. I like that you can only work on one thing at the time and every time you open a tab, you're reminded of it. Makes you want to wrap it and send/print/save it. It's like an incubator for ideas VS google docs that works more like storage.

@frankmireault exactly! limitation is one of the basic ideas of Mindful. Because not everything can be top of mind. The viewport defines your focus.

"The problem with notes and reminders is that you have to remember to look at them" - So true! This is fantastic Adrain, thank you. Are there any plans for a Safari extension?
Adrian Zumbrunnen
@mattheslington thanks Matt! not yet but I’m considering it. :)

I was going batshit crazy with focusOn() as it helped improve my productivity 10x. But this is like FocusOn()+++++++. Beautiful. :)

I love this product video. It's a great representation of the product. Gorgeous design, and excellent functionality. Good work!

@azumbrunnen This looks great. My question to you is that Chrome new tab extensions are a zero-sum game, where you're grabbing ongoing app exposure with a very limited channel. Did that play a factor in deciding to create an app that relies so much on that one vaunted spot?
Adrian Zumbrunnen
@eytanbuchman thank you for your question! Mindful’s key design principle is to be where users already are. In this case, the browser. There are many sophisticated note-taking Apps available for iOS and Android. Mindful isn't trying to replace them, but instead, complement them. It’s still very young and perhaps too early to say where the journey is going. So right now, I look forward to seeing how people will use it and learn how it creates value for them. Hopefully. :)

I love the idea and the design but i'm a heavy user of speed dial and I can't see myself not using it. Would love a way to switch from Mindful to Speed Dial as I would switch between 2 desktops (3/4 finger swap).

Great idea! This may replace my need to continually create text notes in sublime. One snag: I'm not able to get cmd + . (hotkey for 'completed') to work. Any pointers?
Adrian Zumbrunnen
@adamt19 yes! make sure you actually create a checkbox. Start a new line / paragraph and hit space. Then you can create a checkbox. Does that work?

Is there a hotkey for a checkbox? @azumbrunnen_
Adrian Zumbrunnen
@p0cket absolutely. press cmd + . to check off a box. press cmd + shift + . to clean your whole list of all checked items.

Installed and I love the simplicity. A great place to remind the tasks where all the distraction begins. Is there anyway to archive the notes/completed items ?
