Hey Product Hunt 👋 Two years ago I shipped Mini Accountant because I was tired of paying for a bloated accounting suite just to send a few invoices and figure out how much tax I owed. It was free then, and it stays free. Since then it turned into something quite different, so here is v2: 🤖 AI, two ways. An in-app agent drafts invoices, logs expenses and summarizes reports from a single sentence. And there is an MCP server at mcp.miniaccountant.app/v1beta - connect Claude, Cursor or any MCP client and your accounting becomes something you just talk to: "invoice Acme for 20 hours at $75, Net 30" and it is done. Same thing on the go through the Telegram bot @ai_mini_accountant_bot. 🧾 Taxes that match reality. Simple or progressive tax scales, incoming and outgoing VAT, expenses deducted properly, multi-currency with automatic rates, manual overrides, or your own rate server. Reports on income, tax and VAT, ready to download. 📊 A new dashboard. The whole app was redesigned, and the first thing you see now is your month: net profit, income, expenses, VAT, tax, cash collection and unpaid invoices, each compared with the previous month, one tap between months. No more rebuilding it in a spreadsheet every quarter. If you want to go deeper, the developer portal pipes your data into Looker or BigQuery. 💸 Expenses. Track them, attach VAT, and watch them flow into your tax base automatically.
