Multi-Kiddo - Language Learning for Kids - 9 Languages - Animations, Audio and Artwork - Books

We discoverer a really exciting way, maybe a life hack, to teach languages to kids and we want to share it with the world. I’m a mom of three, a life long learner, travel addict and founder of Multi-Kiddo. We adopted our 2 year old daughter after fostering her for 18 months (she was just 16 days old when she was dropped off at our house). While on the foster to adopt journey we knew if we could adopt we’d want to teach her Spanish so she can one day communicate with her biological family in Mexico and Guatemala. Except for an elementary background in American Sign Language, my husband and I only speak English. We went on a hunt to find resources to integrate Spanish into our daily lives but realized we didn’t want to stop at Spanish. We wanted to give our kids the appreciation for multiple languages. We started playing a game in the car where we would pick a word and say that word in as many languages as we could think of or the internet could help us with. **DRUM ROLL** to our surprise our oldest daughter got it, like really got it and that’s how Multi-Kiddo was born. What made this all possible was Sign Language. We realized Sign Language made it clear to our little one that all 8 words were actually the same word, and she was able to interchangeably use them. We would say Hello is one language, and she would respond in another. Our primary goal is to break down language barriers for kiddos all over the world and we have a goal of donating as many print books as we can to make that happen. We’ve just launched a Kickstarter campaign to hopefully increase our total number of books ordered and get the price down so we can essentially buy and donate more books. We have completed EVERYTHING except production and delivery. We are so excited to share this with you and the world!!
