Are people actually using the mobile features of AI coding agents?

Hey guys,

I was wondering: are you actually using the mobile features of AI coding agents like Claude Code, Codex, etc.?

Do you regularly use mobile AI agent apps like Codex on your phone on claude remote or do you mostly stick to the desktop experience?

I’m curious because mobile coding agents sound super useful in theory, but I’m wondering how much people actually use them in practice.

Do you use them to monitor agents, give quick instructions, review code, or even start full tasks while away from your computer?

And what’s the biggest thing stopping you from using them more?

I personally use claude code remote and the Murmell feature that will come soon 👀👀

I open it once per run, to see whether it finished, and I've never started a task from my phone. The blocker isn't the interface, it's that I can't review a diff on a 6 inch screen, so anything I kick off from a queue is done and unverified until I'm back at a desk anyway. The one mobile thing that genuinely earns its place is answering a permission prompt, because that's a yes or no and it unblocks a run that would otherwise idle for an hour. Build that and skip the editor.
