I was scrolling through social media, looking for perspective on a problem, and all I found was a sea of sponsored "life hacks," 7-step formulas from gurus, and perfectly curated advice from influencers who are younger than I am. It felt hollow. I didn't want a "hack." I wanted wisdom. I wanted to hear from my dad, my old boss, a grandparent-people with decades of real, messy, lived experience. The kind of advice that sticks with you forever. So, I built My Advice. It's a simple, no-BS platform with one goal: to connect generations through shared experience. For Seekers: You can filter advice by age and topic. Wondering what a 55-year-old wishes they knew about careers at 25? You can find that. For Givers: You can easily share your hard-earned lessons for a generation that genuinely needs to hear them. You'll notice the design is... bold. We went all-in on Neubrutalism because the app's philosophy is function over fluff, clarity over clutter. It's a tool, not a time-waster, and the design reflects that brutal honesty.
