Amazing product. I'm expecially fan of the Code Node that makes n8n so flexible.
Jan Oberhauser
@hcornu Thanks a lot. The general flexibility is for sure one thing that makes n8n so special. The Code-Node is for sure the most powerful nodes of all.

Sorry for the naive question but what's the difference with Zapier & Make ?

@jeremy_maisse here are a few reasons πŸ‘‡ - You can truly self-host n8n on your own infra (incl. totally disabling any "phone home" capabilities). So much so that there is an n8n user who runs it on a local intranet on cruise ships off of raspberry pi's. - Our main persona is a technical user, they know how to code. This works it's way into all of the UX of n8n. So you get a lot less of "I'm so frustrated by these buttons, can't I just write a line of code and get back to buttons when it makes sense?!?" - Users love our Workflow canvas and editing mental model, they often say they feel "closer to their data" and "I get in a flow state while designing my flows, so get more done faster". - If you use our cloud product, it's typically more affordable. We count per entire workflow executed, while they count per step in each WF (or worse, per item of data for each step). So for anything beyond the most trivial flow, n8n is more affordable, predictable. Technical folks also like that as they don't have to do hacky flow designs just to save on steps. Give it a try, I have had countless convos with Zapier + Make users who made the switch and arn't looking back :)
