With n8n everyone can have their own free node-based workflow automation tool.
n8n is self-hostable, so the data stays with you. It can be easily extended and so also used with in-house tools and allows to automate complex tasks.

Looks quite sweet, especially since you used Vue !! Why did you decide to open source this and not charge as a SaaS? Also how would this be without usage of Nuxt? I am contemplating using it for our work.

@varun_agarwal1 Very sorry did not see the post before. To your questions. Think there are already enough 100% SaaS solutions out there so did not see a reason to add another one. Something that was missing is something that everybody can use for free, self-host and extend. n8n does not use Nuxt at all. Where it gets used is on the website n8n.io. Without it, I would not have been able to create the website as fast and easy. So I am very happy that it exists. Really great project!

@janoberhauser - Love what you've done with n8n.io and also congratulations on launching n8n.cloud. Where can I find a list (or if you can give me) a list of SaaS apps that might be powering their automation workfflow features with n8n.io? Would love to try them out and see how they have integrated n8n into their platforms. Thank you!

Hi ?makers I usually work with very large companies with very strict IT policies. Therefore I am not able to use cloud automation tools like, Zapier .. or n8n.cloud However, the selfhosted version of n8n are perfect for very large companies since no data or logic are leaving their walled garden. In your licence it says: "without limitation fees for hosting or consulting/ support services" I work in a consultancy .. are there any possibility of offering n8n to that type of clients?

Very well thought out and implemented. Intuitive to use for me as a developer but for non-techies it's not too step of a learning curve. I wonder would it be of any value to have a Miro/Figma type of collaboration on the same workflow? i.e. multiple cursors and user indicators.
