The plot of Neon Aether has been leaked! The player's name is Andrew. Here's a sneak peek of the script.

The player explores the house and finds a portal.

Screen: Welcome to Neon Aether! In this game, you will explore worlds, fight enemies, make allies, and go on the journey of your lifetime. Are you ready? Let’s go!

Screen: Objective: Find the portal.

Player: (Finds portal) Oh, wow, that’s incredible. I wonder if I should take a closer look… (falls) AAAGH!

The player finds themselves on a blindingly clean, radiant planet locked under the constant glare of multiple suns. Perfect architectural cities of glass and white stone dominate the landscape. A voice speaks to them. 

Player: Whoa, what is this place? And why is it so bright?

Voice: Human, you have a destiny

Player: How do I go home?

Voice: To go home, you must collect objects. But be careful. Things are not always as they seem. I have to go now. Good luck.

Player: Wait, come back! What objects?

Voice: You will know when you see them.

Player: What do you mean? Come back!
