New York Streets: the Sunday heist now has its own cut scene, and the payout is 10× bigger

by•

Every week the crews of New York Streets compete for one job. Crimes, fights and every hour your crew holds a district earn points. On Sunday at 9pm (London time), the crew with the most points pulls the heist and splits the take evenly.

Two changes this week:

🎬 The heist has its own cut scene. It used to reuse the ordinary bank robbery. Now it's a scene of its own, in the same painted style as the game's other cut scenes:

  • the bank is shut for the weekend and the crew forces the side door with a crowbar

  • they cross the dark hall by flashlight

  • they drill the vault, swing it open and bag the gold and cash

  • they get away by car with a siren behind them

  • back at the hideout, the take is split into equal piles

There are eight new paintings and new sounds for the crowbar, drill, vault door and coins. The music now plays clearly on phone speakers too.

💰 The minimum take is now 50,000 clams, up from 5,000. If the week's pot is smaller, the house makes up the difference, so the winning crew always gets at least 50,000. If nobody scores in a week, the pot rolls over to the next.

Get a crew together and take the vault this Sunday 👉
