Astro mail was better before they where acquired by Slack.

Well clearly marketing or CRM management isn't one of the company's strong suits. I am going to give them a few weeks to see if they will honour my previous subscription. If not, unless they offer a free tier which is just email and nothing else, then I am staying with Postbox. And this is coming from someone who has been there since almost day one and adores the UX.

Read receipts, Send Later, Separate Tabs for Newsletters. What will they think of next!

I agree with all the comments below. Feedback provided was rudely handled, shuts down with short notice and poor communication. I thought this hunt must have been a mistake when I saw in my inbox.
No intention of leaving Spark, for a team who obviously have no respect for their previously paying customers.

Yes: I’m also disappointed in the communication. I’ve moved in to Spark and won’t be going back to Newton.

The absolute BEST! Very impressed with Newton. Making me love email again.

I used it when it called CloudMagic until they decided to change their strategy. They forced users aggressively to switch to Newton's paid plan.
Pros:
Nice and clean design
Intuitive interface
Cons:
Paid subscription
Expensive
No free plan for users who don't need extra features

As many others here said quite well, I'm astonished that I'm having to find out from Product Hunt that they're back after being with them from the very beginning and paying for them (happily) AND telling loads of others about them. I sung their praises as one of my fave apps and then they shut down only to now return with zero notice to their former loyal members. Wow. I'm pretty sure my trust in them is gone. Disappointing...
