We just launched on Product Hunt!

Hey PH! We just went live.

Open Wearables is an open-source platform that turns raw wearable data into something actually useful. One API for multiple wearable providers, open scoring algorithms, and an AI engine that reasons about health data instead of just summarizing it.

We built this at Momentum. After 220+ health tech projects we kept seeing the same thing: every team burns months integrating Garmin, Whoop, Apple Health one by one, then builds their own scoring from scratch. So we packaged the whole thing and open-sourced it.

What you get:

  1. One API for Garmin, Whoop, Oura, Apple Health, Strava, Polar, Suunto, Samsung, Google Health Connect, Ultrahuman

  2. Health scores that work the same across all devices

  3. MCP server so any LLM can plug in and give real health recommendations

MIT licensed. Self-hosted. $0 per user. docker compose up and you're up in 5 minutes.

Would love to hear what you'd build with this.

this hits a pain point I’ve personally run into. I’ve tried integrating just one wearable provider before, and it took weeks.
