Do you think AI will make people's real relationships sadder than they are?
Just yesterday, there was talk about how younger users should be “protected” from manipulation by AI.
Today, on the other hand, I read that OpenAI CEO Sam Altman announced that ChatGPT will soon allow “verified adults” to engage in erotic conversations.
How do you think that erotic AI conversations will affect real-life relationships?
(I can already see people struggling to approach each other both offline and online. These kinds of topics practically write themselves in forums.)

The question is very relevant. If AI becomes too good at creating emotional connections, human relationships might eventually start to feel less exciting...

AI might become the 3rd thing in relationships. Reminds me of Dawn by Octavia Butler where the alien became the unseen mediator, shaping intimacy and communication between the couple. One of my favorites!
