This is great! A sidebar instead of top bar, who needs that much horizontal space, our eyes get tired easily with too much horizontal scans. Would be great to have dark or no title bar though. It's great to have so many new browsers coming up recently. Wonder what's the basic tool chain for building your own browser? Blink/webkit core? Electron?

@chetaaron @marcin_simonides @janstandal @marcin_mnich Brilliant job, now my default browser! Wish there was a way to customize the "title bar" based on the background image dominant color. How do I get the dark "title bar" as shown in the screen shots, as opposed to the standard boring grey?

Great Product! Seriously loved the Browser, everywhere you guys have put in the effort like Incognito Window "Shh GIF", etc. Just 2 things which will permanently shift a lot of guys to Neon: * Chrome Login functionality by which everything will get imported into it * Chrome Extensions as you built over Chromium [dis will reduce a lot of efforts to build new things in Neon like New Tab Ext., etc.]

So the next step will be moving all this features to the original Opera Browser? Because for now no chance to sync Neon at work and home, right?

I tested Neon in the last days and I am starting to like it. I feel like I can focus more on the active tab... It's difficult to describe, but I like it. But I feel like it is a lot slower than Chrome.

This looks really promising, but without the extensions... Chrome is always going to be one step ahead. 😔

This is cool but as more and more people are going mobile, will this even be used by the masses?

As a productivity driven person (does it exist?), I liked some of the resources, especially the split screen option, also the new organization for tabs is amazing. My concern in about addons, I use several on Chrome, such as Hubspot, Evernote, and Pocket. Not sure if I can live without it, but let give it a try.
