I work with other devs on building scalable stacks for web and mobile applications on the institutional level. Platform developers use the tool to help banks, governments, or any kind of company that needs to build tech on an enterprise level. Yes, even the Pokemon Company uses our tooling. For example, in 2020, US Bank Philippines needed to launch a mobile application to distribute stimulus checks to their citizens, 3 months, boom done. App and checks delivered. When I started my professional journey as a .Net developer, I was impressed by the speed on how I could create applications and features. I was so confident that once I bet to my colleagues OutSystems developers that I could create a small application faster than they could... Long story short: I lost (!!) and as from that day I became an OutSystems developer. This was more than 10 years ago and, through that time I had multiple roles, but the passion is the same! Great platform, let you focus on what is important!
