Overlap - Curating the best podcast clips for you

Congrats on the launch! This app has become my go-to for long drives, runs, and commutes. I usually spend ages on podcast discovery particularly because full-length pods can be quite a commitment — Overlap solves that pain point so well.

I get stuck in podcast ruts, listening to the same kinds of content. Overlap is perfect for me in that it makes it easy to dabble in different genres. I love my daily Overlap recs!

I’m a huge podcast fan but these days haven’t been able to spend the time I used to listening to them. I’ve been using Overlap for the past few weeks and think there’s a ton of value in having clips curated for me! Excited to keep on listening and watch as the app evolves - so far I’ve enjoyed the playlists it’s made for me on startup tech and gaming, and there’s new ones every day.

I quit podcasts because the episodes were getting too long and I could never find content I liked - overlap has solved all my problems and I’m back on podcasts!

I liked Overlap so much I switched from Android to iPhone! Can't wait for the Android version so I can switch back :D

As an engineer working on Overlap, I'm really excited about what we're building. I've always struggled with long-form podcasts - my attention span just isn't suited for hour-long episodes. That's actually what inspired me to work on this project. We're targeting people like me who prefer bite-sized content but still want to stay informed and entertained. Our AI does the heavy lifting of finding those golden moments in podcasts, so you don't have to wade through hours of content. Being on the technical side, I'm particularly proud of how we've implemented the AI curation. It's been a fascinating challenge to develop algorithms that can understand context, relevance, and user preferences across such a wide range of topics. I'd love to hear from other engineers or podcast fans about what features you'd find most useful in an app like this. We're always looking to improve and innovate! Been great to work with everyone on this.
