Browse a fake catalog, spend pretend money, and track a snail who slowly delivers your order. Nothing real ever ships. That is the point. All the joy of ordering, none of the packages.

Hey PH! Solo dev here. Pabo started because I kept opening shopping apps at midnight with no intention of buying. Korea solved this with "dopamine sites", fake delivery pages you order from for the feeling. I built the full app version: catalog, cart, a daily allowance of pretend money, live snail tracking, ranks for loyal customers of nothing. Free on Google Play, Android first. Update: Pabo is now on iPhone too 🐌 https://www.producthunt.com/products/pabo?launch=pabo-for-iphone Ask me anything, especially about the snail.

the snail animation is honestly the best part, this weird little touch that makes the whole pretend shopping loop feel genuinely charming instead of just pointless.

@turgayk9q2 Thanks Turgay! The snail got promoted: in the new version you actually play his delivery route, jumping rocks and collecting shells. Now on iPhone too: https://www.producthunt.com/prod...

the snail tracking loop is genuinely brilliant, basically turning delivery anxiety into something kind of soothing. whoever thought to gamify the wait instead of rushing it clearly gets it.
Love the concept, the snail delivery tracker is such a funny touch. One thing that would make it even better is letting users name their snail, since you'll be staring at that little guy for days waiting for your pretend package.
Tried it on a boring Tuesday afternoon and the little snail delivery tracker genuinely made me smile at my desk. Honestly did not expect a fake checkout to be this oddly relaxing.
This is such a cute concept, the snail delivery tracker alone made me smile. One idea: add a little journal or "unboxing notes" section where you can write what you imagined was inside each fake order, so you can revisit the little stories you invented later.

@ecrinzz3u Love the unboxing notes idea. It's not in yet, but your orders now go into a room you decorate, which scratches a similar itch. Live on iPhone today: https://www.producthunt.com/prod...

@reyhandedemli You nailed it, so I leaned all the way in: the wait is now a mini game. Pabo is live on iPhone today: https://www.producthunt.com/prod...

@kaderrpyy Ha, he already has a name: he's Pabo 🐌 And he got his own mini game in the new version. Live on iPhone today: https://www.producthunt.com/prod...
Finally a service that gets it. The snail tracker is weirdly calming and I caught myself refreshing just to see how far little Gary made it.
@egemencioljzcj Gary would be proud: he has his own playable delivery route now. Pabo just launched on iPhone: https://www.producthunt.com/prod...
I gave the snail a name and now I genuinely look forward to refreshing the tracker. Weirdly relaxing for something that does literally nothing.
@sabriye677517 Love that you named him! He has his own mini game in the new version, live on iPhone today: https://www.producthunt.com/prod...

@mnevvermjka That's exactly the moment I built it for 😄 The new version just launched on iPhone, with a playable delivery and a room for your orders: https://www.producthunt.com/prod...
