Product Hunt's most upvoted form builder just got better!
Paperform V2 is a re-think of how we create forms. V2 includes tons of new features like rich emails, spaces, advanced theming, and in-app Zapier integrations, as well as a new design to give a home to the 60 new features released since Paperform launched.
Hey Hunters! We're excited to release Paperform 2.0. It's the same form builder you love, but even better. We've updated the entire platform to make everything more intuitive, simple, and powerful.
What's a big release without some new features? We've got you covered with the following:
- Automatic saving of forms, and the ability to roll back to previous versions of forms
- Rich text emails (including images, links, text formatting and colors)
- A whole new Theme experience, including a finer level of control over UI elements
- Organise your forms into "spaces" on the new dashboard
- New question configuration, like multiple file uploads, restricting addresses to countries, and forcing phone numbers into a specific format
- New logic options, including the ability to create nested conditions for advanced logic
- Tighter integration with Zapier, so that you can see the Zaps enabled for your forms, and add new Zaps easily from within Paperform
- Restrict when form submissions are open to a specific date range, and customize the content that is seen when submissions are closed
And there are lots more, you'll need to go exploring ;)
Wow Dean & Dionysia
Paperform 2.0 looks fantastic! I've been seeing Paperform forms popping up in more and more places across the web so whatever you are doing keep it up!
I've been using Paperform since 2017 and I can honestly say it's the best form tool out there. It just works!! It loads very quickly, looks great and has lots of customization options. Plus the support has been amazing (btw - I've hardly ever needed support - that shows how intuitive this tool is)
Been using this for about a year or so, never been happier with a form tool. Before this I used Jotfom, then Typeform and tried a few others. Paperform is truly a great product! And support is phenomenal!
Absolutely love Paperform, it is pivotal to my business.
I am super excited that you are taking it to the next level. When using Paperform it feels like you are going at 100mph, the ease of the UI makes it so.
Well done Dean & Diony (again)!
Paperform handled 6-figures worth of payments last month for me like a champ. Absolutely awesome product for payments and forms (I say payments first because it really is one of the better ecommerce platforms out there).
@dionymcpherson One two-second feature request: Change the "suburb" field in addresses to "city" or allow the option. It's confused a number of my customers.
Been using Paperform since I grabbed V1 back in 2016 and it's been fantastic.
The support provided by Diony and the rest of the team is fast and on point.
The help icon providing access to either live chat or an FAQ/guide section to help you learn how to make and customise the forms ...it's all just superb.
One of my favourite features is the logic which allows you to dynamically change the questions shown to the form filler OR...change the page they land on at the end of the form.
Easy to build a professional looking form, very intuitive UI.
When I left typeform back in 2016 I was hesitant...now I'm so glad that I did as Paperform beats it hands down.
Pros:
Fantastically slick UI
Plenty of settings to fine tune your form's function and appearance
Well supported by the creators
Cons:
Embedded forms a bit slower than I would like them to be
Slight learning curve, but doesn't every good system have one :)
Report
Been using Paperform for over a year with good results. Respondents liked the design and clarity in form formats. Responsive anywhere it appeared.
It has been an evolving product. I remembered 15 months or so ago it just introduced conditional logic, now it has almost every control features.
I still wish it has direct integration with Google Sheet and other popular services, though. Zapier and webhooks are both good and I'm using them, but it is costly and/or I have to touch the code.
Pros:
Beautiful and intuitive UI since v1 and a growing feature set. Updates every month. Haven't need to contact support and that's the plus.
Cons:
Embedded forms are a bit slow. Default font hurts my eyes, but it's 'cause I used non-English typeset; Change to an unicode font will fix.
