We’re building something for HR and L&D teams. What would make it actually useful for you?
by•
A lot of you followed Pitch Avatar after our Chat-avatar launch. Since then, we’ve noticed something: more and more of our users are HR and L&D teams using avatars to onboard new hires and run training.
So we’re building a version of Pitch Avatar made specifically for them: courses instead of single videos, per-employee progress, and a knowledge base the avatar uses to answer employees’ questions.
Before we ship it, we’d love your input:
• What’s the most frustrating part of onboarding or training in your company?
• What would an AI avatar need to do for you to trust it with that?
Every answer goes straight to the product team. And if you’d like early access, let us know below 👇

For policy questions, show the source document and its effective date beside the answer. If two documents disagree, let the employee send that question to the policy owner instead of having the avatar choose one.
From the new-hire side, the frustrating part usually isn't the training content. It's week two, when you have lots of small questions (who approves leave, where the latest design files live, which tool is used for what) and it feels awkward to ask a teammate for the fifth time. An avatar that answers those without judgement could be really useful.
For trust, two things matter most:
• Show where each answer came from, with a link to the actual policy or doc.
• Say "I'm not sure, ask your manager" instead of guessing. One wrong answer about leave or payroll and people stop using it.
And keep the videos short and skippable. Nobody wants a long avatar intro to a tool they'll learn faster by clicking around.
