I'm going to miss Wunderlist! Great acquisition by Microsoft that came to fruition!

In a less frustrated way: Microsoft needed not buying Wunderlist to build To Do Microsoft needed not buying Accomplice to build Outlook Microsoft needed not buying Sunrise to build a RIP paper headstone miniature for Bill Gate's desk. 😄 They are primarily buying user-base, track record, expertise/teams, stats and user research. Secondarily, they are opening space for their own selves, in the best "if you can't beat them, kill'hem" way possible, making all the spoils their own. It's an efficient way to hire success, an easy way to secure intel and patents (where they are due) and not so safe a way to increase users (although most often it works). In general such acquisitions cost less than what they make in the mid to long run for them. Which has makes all the sense in the world, corporately. From the regular user's perspective, all they see is their favourite way of working being taken away. Yep, I'll try. However, no one likes the blood-sucker with a load of cash -- except those being bought.

Seriously you guys? It was a to-do list app. This is what that team thought was best. Get over yourselves lol

I use Completo because it has minimalist design, and helps me keep track of future stuff a lot better than I was before when I was just using my google calendar.

We already love Wunderlist. We don't need a crappy replacement.

Why would anyone want AI suggestions on even more tasks to do today?

I usually refrain from ranting online BUT Wunderlist is feeding my family as wife and I are using it to share shopping list items from whatever device we are on and when shopping alert the other one we've bought. I don't need any other feature of so many other ToDo apps out there. Just this simple use case which needed the simplest UI possible. Without it I'll end up with double cereal boxes but no milk! Can I sue MS for ruining my household welfare ? ;-)
