Pluck — Copy any component from any website into your AI tool
Hey everyone 👋
I'm building Pluck — a free Chrome extension that lets you copy any UI component from any website and paste it into Claude, Cursor, Lovable, or any AI tool as a structured prompt.
The problem I kept running into:
I'd see a component I wanted to recreate — a pricing table, a navbar, a hero section — and then spend 10 minutes trying to describe it to my AI coding tool. The colors, the spacing, the fonts, the layout. The AI would get it close, but never right on the first try. So I'd go back and forth, tweaking the prompt, over and over.
It felt absurd. I could literally see the thing on screen. Why was I describing it in words?
How Pluck works:
1. Click any element on any website
2. Pluck captures the full component tree — HTML structure, computed CSS for every element, fonts, colors, spacing, images, and SVGs
3. Choose your frameworks (React, Svelte, Vue + Tailwind, CSS Modules, etc.)
4. Copy as a structured prompt and paste into any AI tool
The AI gets the full picture — not a vague description — so it nails the implementation on the first try.
Also works with Figma. The Unlimited plan lets you paste components into Figma as editable vectors, not flat screenshots.
Pricing: Free plan gives you 50 plucks/month with the LLM Prompt mode. No credit card. Unlimited is $10/month for power users.
