Why do SMMs still plan content in spreadsheets?

Hey PH 👋
We talked to social media managers about why they still plan content in Notion and Excel, even when they use scheduling tools.
The answer was simple: those tools have the fields they need. Scheduling tools don't.
So we added them to Postana.
When you create a draft now, you can capture:
📌 Content pillar: tied to your brand strategy
📱 Platforms: tag which channels it's going to
#️⃣ Hashtags: right at the planning stage
✍️ Caption: start drafting while the idea is fresh
🎬 Story/shoot ideas: angles, hooks, production notes
💰 Ad/Sponsored flag: for paid content tracking
This isn't a new idea. It's literally what's already in every SMM's spreadsheet. We just put it where the work actually happens.
If you've been managing a content calendar across 3 different tools, this is the consolidation you've been waiting for.
Would love your feedback, especially from social media managers and agency folks in the community 🙏
