I built prjct/cli out of pure frustration.

by

Every time I tried to turn an idea into a roadmap, I’d jump between Claude and ChatGPT. One gave me X, the other Y, and nothing lined up. Cursor was better, but not exact (and pricey).

Claude Code felt closer, but I like being in control. For me, AI should be a copilot — not the driver. Context windows filled up fast, and I’d lose the thread.

With prjct/cli, I finally get that control back. What used to take hours now takes minutes. Example:

/p:idea "create my web portfolio"

If I start with Astro, it reads the context, generates tasks, and even creates the branch. Suddenly, I can shape an entire project in one flow.

We’re just at v0.1.0, but it’s open source. Fork it, star it, try it, break it — I’d love feedback from fellow builders. Docs are improving, and the goal is simple: make shipping feel effortless again.

If you like it, join in — and maybe buy me a coffee along the way. ☕
