I did 100 calls to build the AI interviewer I wanted. Try it free
First, why we build an AI interviewer?

To ease the onboarding process.
After our Product Hunt Launch, many people signed up but didn't test the platform because they need someone to do a call with, and if we lose that momentum, the user is lost.
Reminder: Prodshort.com turns your calls into content, clips and posts.
So we decided to add two things:
Community calls: Schedule a call with other users when you sign up.
Riley: AI that's always ready to jump on a call with you and interview you.
We will update you how it changes the onboarding process.
Why a 100 calls?
After building the tech, I did 100 calls to test and find the right model, the right voice. The difficulty is mainly to find the balance between quality and latency, as the best models are slower. I ended up with the obvious choice: @ElevenLabs
Then it was time to give him a character, and ehhh, you can describe it, prompt it, but you need to test it every time. Until you meet Riley. The right balance, between interested and punchy.
All this is possible thanks to @Vapi
Try it on zoom or Gmeet with Riley. And please give us your feedback.
What the thing that made your onboarding easier?
Did you already do an interview with AI ?

the momentum thing hits hard. lost a chunk of signups on my own launch bc the gap between "signed up" and "got on a call w me" was where ppl ghosted.
never tried an ai interviewer myself yet but riley sounds like the move. how do u handle ppl who finish the call but still wanna talk to a human, does riley flag the high-intent ones or is it more "this replaces the call entirely"?

@saad_el_gueddari Riley is fully for creating content, so you can use it as much as you want. For your other calls, they should be with the people you like and want.
Another way to do it is to link people in the community together so they can have calls and create content together. That's it.
