Thats an amazing list of tools. And I have one to add, it might not be the best but it definitely a nice tool for indie app devs. Launch Shots - a store listing screenshots generator. Unlike most tools in this space, it offers a free tier with no hidden premium traps, plus simple pay-per-use pricing instead of locking you into a subscription.

@ajayesivan neat product - any other suggestions? what are the products that helped you build it?

Great list. What stands out to me across many of these launches is consistency — teams that kept shipping, listening to developers, and iterating in public.

Tools like Cursor, v0, and Kilo Code didn’t just have one strong moment; they stayed relevant by fitting directly into existing workflows and reducing friction. That seems to be the common thread behind the launches people still remember.

Curious which of these will still feel essential a year from now.

good point. what would be your take? @bashirco

@fmerian My guess would be tools like Cursor — ones that blend directly into existing workflows and quietly save time every day. If a tool reduces friction without demanding attention, it has a much better chance of still feeling essential a year from now.
