Hi Rajiv. Thanks for with this AMA thread.

Like many others, the single question which I as a builder who is new to PH have is - "Is there any way to ensure that the rankings on PH "actually" reflect the quality of a product?".
Right now it is very clear that folks who have already got access to a community in PH end up getting upvoted and those don't languish.

As a possible mitigant, do you think having a netural editorial committee to also weigh in could help? Perhaps, it could be a mix of community driven votes and the editorial committee votes?

how do you plan to balance PH's mission of showcasing new products with the growing need for long-term success metrics?

many products gain initial traction but struggle to maintain momentum...

could Product Hunt introduce features to highlight products that show lasting impact or user growth beyond the launch phase?

After 10 years of being a PH user and discovering some of my most favourite tools over the years, i've finally launched my own - @Stella The minute that I launched, I got bombarded across every possible channel with offers of buying 500 upvotes for $35, hundreds of comments for $40, reviews for just a bit extra. They took some of the joy away from knowing that if Stella does get to the top, it's organic, it's deserved. Now I know, it won't happen if i'm competing against bought interactions.

I'm still so glad I did it - crafting the pitch, learning about how PH operates on the founder side. But now the final piece of the puzzle in my learning journey is this -> what measures do you have to control fake interactions?

What are the efforts to deal with spam and bots getting after you outside ProductHunt to get your vote?
