I love PH from the first days. Can't have day without take a look at it on my laptop or phone. This where I search all my tools for my life and my startup before searching elsewhere on the web.

Pros:

THE place to be in the tech product launch and library. Period

Cons:

Track different versions of softwares and merge them as once

The voting system is interesting, but doesn't really prevent anyone from coming in and giving a vote without reason just to dick around. :(

ProductHunt is evolving from new products leader-board to a comprehensive products database useful to anyone making research for a best tool on market to solve their problems.

Pros:

Addition of reviews is great and gives better insight into products.

NPM like "Would you recommend" also a great addition.

Cons:

New features are not yet supported in mobile version.

Twitter based user profiles makes it harder to understand reviewers' background.

This is dope but profile pics seem to have suffered in the upgrade. Neither I nor my co-founder can see our profile pics, primarily on our profile pages and on our product's "Upcoming" page.

Aaah, when I enter this site's product I enter a loop! :P
