@rrhoover I it possible to add something like funding/sponsoring options for little side projects on ProductHunt. I think that really helps little projects.

@jackpointnl what do you mean exactly, Jack? Do you mean an option for people to solicit sponsors or investors on Product Hunt?

@rrhoover Like for http://bioischanged.com We need a sponsor to pay for the server. Or a few people to pay a little. As you have a big community you could help small project in funding. You can handle the payments/subscriptions trough your website.

@rrhoover I have one suggestion for a weekly sort of show for makers & investors only. What if you allowed people/makers to do a 10 minute demo/pitch and field questions and feedback from potential angels/other makers. Would help deal flow on their end and makers on their end. Finding a match to extend runway helps all good products find a product market fit and potential partners.

So has Product Hunt Live absorbed the Product Hunt Books AMA lineup? I note that www.producthunt.com/books/ama redirects to www.producthunt.com/live now. @rrhoover I'd love to know more about the strategy behind this move.

@eliservescent Yes it has! 😎. The LIVE pages are better suited for question/answer format than what we had for existing books (plus ability to subscribe). www.producthunt.com/live top right of the page, you can filter by category if you'd like to see all the book chats. 😃

@mscccc Now I wish I'd found the time to participate in the book AMAs over the last few weeks - the format is great & I'm sorry I don't have a "before" experience to compare it to. Still interested in hearing more about the strategy, what this idea grew out of, etc. Why Product Hunt Live, why now?
