I have been using Sip for a while now, but never received any notifications - that's probably because it's being officially launched only today. Let's see how this goes!

@arunsathiya We've been sending out stories every day at 5PM for the past week, stirring in @chadwhitaker to take a closer look.

@arunsathiya Odd. Try redownloading the app directly from the App Store/Play Store. If you don't receive one today, let me know. 🙌

Just from first glance, these stories seem a lot like Twitter stories. My question: how is Sip better? Looks very nice, nice work @chadwhitaker

I love this app. I've been a part of the beta test, and I've been able to get a much better handle on the important things going on in the tech world. The work @chadwhitaker and team are doing is awesome, and I love the unobtrusive nature of the app and notifications.

Definitely feels like Twitter Moments.

Been using beta for the last couple weeks. Great aggregation of relevant product and tech stories. Love the different mediums that content is pulled from (i.e., Twitter, tech blogs, Sip original summaries, etc.).

Pros:

Relevant & digestible content that is well curated & comprehensive.

Cons:

None so far.

I am in favor of keeping the swipe to continue format, an auto-play could get too sloppy depending on speed IMO.

Pros:

Bite-sized stories, with a pinch of wit, focusing on the big picture for your daily tech news consumption. Various sources per Sip story 👍

Cons:

None

@marcelc63 inside did the mobile app but metrics was bad. Personally prefer read them in one letter. @rrhoover please make iOS PH app play gifs and work offline
