That's it really. Will update once I've used it a little more.
Pros:
Simple and straightforward. No bs and unncessary details.
Cons:
A bit too simple at times.

When I open the app it goes through the setup process, but never saves the result so it never seems to actually sends me any notifications.
Pros:
Couldn't say at this stage
Cons:
Doesn't seem to be working

I hate this because I thought of something similar, but I enjoy it a lot and happy someone made it real :P Any plans to let us swipe left/right? Tapping feels slower for me. Would also like a way to skip to older posts without tapping X. A way to open the articles in Chrome on Android would be nice.

Love the concept, but it took me 3 uses to realize I could "tap" to progress through the story. The first screen of each article has the arrow, but the 2nd screen is (always?) all white with plain text. I remember during my first use I tried swiping to no avail, then ended up clicking the close button. Since Sip is minimal, I though that was it, and I was ok with that. On the second use I was wondering what that indicator was up in the top right notch of my phone (iPhone X). I actually tapped on it trying to figure out what it was, but it was not responsive. I wasn't sure if it was part of the app UI or something I had never seen before native to iOS. Last night, I accidentally discovered the tap! Functions much like an IG story, makes me like the app even more, but the UI didn't convey that to me.
I just saw the screenshots here on Product Hunt, and the non-iPhone X UI seems to do a much better job. I think a segmented bar (instead of a progress bar) would work better, but if taps on the bar advanced the story that would probably be enough. The bar definitely caught my eye, I just didn't put two and two together.
Another option/addition would be to use the touch "down" event to advance the story so that attempts to swipe would also be caught. It seems to be looking to a tap "gesture" which needs to be much more intentional.
Curious if you got this feedback from anyone else, or if I'm just getting old.

I'm a big fan. Love the app and the content. Excellent work. Have you guys taught about making the platform available as a SAAS product? I could use a platform like this to send content to my company fans (instruction manuals, etc..) and I see a lot of potential for newsletters also.

Amazing !

The design is simple but it's clear a lot of thought went in to it.
I love how non-intrusive the whole experience is. Push notifications are capped (in fact i think that was part of the original value prop which enticed me) to no more than one per day and navigating sips is so seamless.
It doesn't try to keep you there like many other apps do and since adopting it i'm finding i'm better connected to all major events happening in digital/tech.
Lastly the animated gifs/pics to break up the content might not be everyone's cup of tea but i find it breaks up the content really well.
Pros:
Short digestible tech stories pushed to your phone no more than once a day
I’ve been using it for 1 month now and I can say; best tech news app ever. Love to swipe and consume the most important information. No bs and also a lot of fun!

Excellent product! Only wish sharing an article was available from within the app.
Cool concept, much rather read in this way, with short punchlines, texts and one notification per day is just the right amount so I am not disturbed that much.
