What do you miss about Product Hunt?

Over the past few months, we have seen some major and minor changes here, such as:

– removal of "Notify Me" pages

– addition of downvotes to comments (BTW, did you use that when it existed?)

– or the end of endless scrolling in the comments section – they replaced it with numbered pages

Is there anything you can think of that would improve the platform? (Apart from DMs, which you keep mentioning. 😅)

[Personally, I miss a button to bookmark my conversations, or interesting/valuable comments of other people.]

oh gosh, I did not know that they took away the Notify me page :( why? So now it is not possible to share in advance? The PH UX is definitely not the easiest one to uderstand and find what's needed)))

@sasha_dikan It's been several months. Now, you can ask people to follow the page product.

A lot of makers feel the same way—Product Hunt has evolved, but some features from the “old days” were missed. A few things people commonly mention:

Easier bookmarking of comments and discussions: Like you said, a simple way to save valuable comments or threads would make it easier to track insights without copying links manually.

Better discovery of past launches: Sometimes it’s hard to browse old products or discussions without endless scrolling or complicated searches.

More granular notifications: Being able to get notified for specific threads, makers, or product categories instead of general updates.

Community-driven features: Things like upvoting helpful comments (beyond just posts), or highlighting expert replies could improve engagement.

Persistent “Notify Me” functionality: Even if it wasn’t perfect, it let people know when a product launched and helped build early traction.

It seems like the common thread is making the platform more “memory-friendly”—saving, tracking, and rediscovering content without losing context.

If you could add one feature to Product Hunt today, what would it be?
